Sake Haus

Phoenix, Arizona — Spirit-Forward Sushi Bar & Sake Lounge

Building a standout digital authority platform and brand identity system for one of Phoenix's most distinctive dining and nightlife experiences.

Sake Haus is a spirit-forward sushi bar rooted in the energy of Phoenix's historic Roosevelt Row Arts District. Born from a love of Japanese culture, craft sake, and late-night dining, the brand delivers a moody, Tokyo-street-inspired atmosphere centered on premium sushi, an extensive sake program, Japanese whisky, and creative cocktails. With a loyal local following and a reputation for bold flavors and a vibrant scene, Sake Haus is more than a restaurant — it's a destination.

To support the brand's long-term growth, Goat Sites partnered with the Sake Haus team to develop a complete brand system, digital platform, and ongoing marketing infrastructure designed to position the restaurant as a standout leader in the Phoenix dining and nightlife market.

Page One

Ranking for primary keywords across the Roosevelt Row and greater Phoenix market.

Targeted SEO strategy and authority-focused content helped the brand achieve first-page rankings for key search terms, expanding visibility and discovery across Phoenix dining and nightlife audiences.

This increased visibility positioned the brand in front of new audiences actively searching for sushi bars, sake lounges, happy hour, and omakase experiences in Phoenix.

The Challenge

Building a lasting digital presence for a one-of-a-kind concept requires more than great food and a cool room.

Sake Haus had a compelling atmosphere, a loyal local following, and a genuinely distinctive concept — but needed a digital foundation capable of communicating the depth of that experience to people who hadn't walked through the door yet.

Without the right positioning and infrastructure, the brand risked being underrepresented online relative to the strength of its in-person experience.

The challenge was to build a digital platform and brand system that could:

  • Communicate the energy, craft, and culture of the Sake Haus experience

  • Tell the brand's story in a compelling, visual way

  • Attract organic discovery through search in a competitive Phoenix dining market

  • Convert online interest into reservations, happy hour visits, and event attendance

  • Provide a scalable foundation for ongoing marketing and concept growth

In short, the brand needed a digital presence that matched what was happening inside the room — and one that could grow alongside the business.

Strategic Approach

Installing structural brand authority

Our approach focused on building a digital ecosystem designed to support both brand perception and measurable growth.

Rather than simply maintaining a website, the goal was to install a complete authority framework across brand identity, messaging, and digital infrastructure — and to evolve that framework as the brand expanded.

Key strategic priorities included:

  • Developing a brand identity that reflects the craft, culture, and electric atmosphere at the core of the Sake Haus experience

  • Designing a website that functions as both a brand experience and a practical tool for guests and staff

  • Structuring the site and content for long-term search visibility and SEO growth

  • Creating clear pathways to key actions — menus, happy hour, events, and reservations

  • Establishing a scalable digital foundation to support ongoing marketing initiatives and future growth

The objective was simple:

Position Sake Haus as a brand that looks like the obvious choice before customers even start comparing options.

Most brand videos don't fix it. The production looks fine. The logo's in the right place. But nothing changes — because the strategy behind it was never right. The message gets softened. The positioning collapses into something safe. The buyer watches the rest (maybe)… and feels nothing.

That's not a production problem. It's a strategy problem.

We don't begin with "it needs to look cool." We start with your positioning, your buyer psychology, and the one thing a cold prospect needs to believe before they'll trust you. Then we build the film around that.

The result is an Authority Film — a controlled, cinematic moment that replaces passive scrolling with your positioning, your proof, and your CTA, delivered in 60 seconds of precision-engineered persuasion. It lives on your homepage, your ads, your emails, your social. It works around the clock. It never has a bad day. And unlike a blog post or a testimonial, it gets shared.

Not a video that looks good. An asset that changes how prospects perceive you before they've said a word.

This Is For You If:

  • You run a business where trust drives sales.

  • Where the right first impression is worth more than any ad you'll ever run.

  • Where your reputation is your product.

The Delivery

Sake Haus / Brand Film Film

Widescreen Website Version

Goat Sites partnered with Sake Haus to produce a cinematic brand film focused on capturing the energy, mood, and identity of the experience behind the brand.

The goal was not simply to advertise menu items or showcase the space, but to create a piece of content that immediately communicated what made Sake Haus feel different from a typical restaurant or nightlife concept.

Instead of relying on traditional hospitality marketing, the film was developed with a more cinematic and story-focused approach designed to pull viewers into the atmosphere and create intrigue. Every scene was crafted to highlight the emotion, movement, culture, and personality surrounding the brand, helping position Sake Haus as more than just a place to eat or drink — but as a destination and experience people wanted to be part of.

The completed film now serves as a cornerstone marketing asset across the Sake Haus website and social platforms, helping drive engagement, strengthen brand recognition, build credibility, and create a stronger emotional connection with both existing customers and first-time visitors.
